Students, staff and adult participants enjoy food, fun and games
St. Coletta’s of Illinois welcomed the start of the fall season with its annual Fall Fest, a much-anticipated event filled with food, games and fun for students, staff and adult participants. The event was held on St. Coletta’s campus and was a festive opportunity for everyone to come together to enjoy the changing season in a spirit of community and celebration.
Highlights of this year’s Fall Fest included a variety of activities led by different departments across the organization. Hay Bale Rice Krispie treats and hot chocolate set a cozy tone as attendees sipped apple cider with members of the Psychology Department. The HR Department popped fresh popcorn for everyone, while the CDS Department delighted with face painting and temporary tattoos. Participants also captured memories in the Photo Booth hosted by the Supported Employment Departmen

The Finance Department brought smiles with their fun “Poke a Pumpkin” game, and the Social Services Department took charge of the grill, serving up delicious hamburgers that were a hit with the crowd. Volunteers from All Saints Lutheran Church were on hand to help with the games, adding to the festive atmosphere and showing their continued support for St. Coletta’s mission.
“The Fall Fest is always a special time for us at St. Coletta’s,” said Heather Benedick, CEO of St. Coletta’s of Illinois. “It’s a great way to kick off the season, and it allows our students, staff, and adult participants to relax and have fun while celebrating the community we’ve built here.”
St. Coletta’s Fall Fest continues to be a cornerstone event, offering moments of joy, laughter, and togetherness as the seasons change. The staff and participants look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
