The Illinois Board of Directors is comprised of nine to eleven community volunteers from the Chicagoland area and up to three professed members of the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.

Members are selected to join the Board after completing an application process.

They serve three-year terms.

 

The Board is directly responsible to the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi for carrying out the Mission of the organization and setting long-range goals with the Executive Director. The Board also assists with the development and monitoring of policies relative to the spiritual, programmatic and physical care of residents and clients receiving services.

 

The Board meets quarterly on the third Monday of the month.
