EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Our Supported Employment program helps individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities find and maintain meaningful work in the community. With personalized coaching, on-the-job training, and ongoing support, participants gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in competitive employment while contributing to their workplaces and communities.
SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT

Supported Employment provides community-based job opportunities tailored to each individual. The process begins with an assessment to identify strengths, skills and interests. Participants are then paired with a job coach who supports them before employment and throughout the application, interview and training process.
Job coaches also help identify local job openings that match each participant's abilities, while leveraging St. Coletta's established
network of employers to expand opportunities. Once employed, job coaches ensure reasonable accommodations are in place while encouraging growth and continued engagement on the job. Businesses that employ St. Coletta’s participants include Jewel, Emagine Entertainment, Portillo’s, Lexus of Orland, McDonald’s, Goodwill Store & Donation Center and FedEx Ground.
INDUSTRIAL SERVICES
Industrial Services offers in-house work opportunities for adults who thrive in a highly supervised environment. Participants complete contracted “piece-work” projects from local businesses, allowing them to contribute based on their abilities rather than being responsible for an entire project. Participants are paid for the work they complete, providing meaningful employment and the opportunity to earn income. Current projects on St. Coletta's

workshop floor include packaging 3M Tacky Glue and Minwax Wood Filler for Atlas Putty Products Co., as well as assembling and packaging metal fasteners for Bamal Fastener Corporation.
COLETTA'S CROSSING BAKERY

St. Coletta’s has proudly reinstated its Bakery Job Training Program with the opening of Coletta’s Crossing Bakery. Led by our Bakery Instructor, participants begin with a four-week curriculum where they earn their ServSafe Food Handler certification and build essential skills in culinary techniques, kitchen safety, and baking recipes featured in the bakery. After completing the program, participants move into paid, on-the-job training at Coletta’s Corner Bakery, earning minimum wage while continuing to grow. They also work closely with St. Coletta’s job coaches to strengthen the professional and personal skills needed for long-term community employment.
