Aero Rubber Co. sends over boxes of paper products, craft supplies donated by employees
Christmas arrived early at St. Coletta’s of Illinois with a delivery of paper products and craft supplies.
Employees at Aero Rubber Company, Inc. collected the items and donated them to St. Coletta’s on Dec. 6.
“We like to be a part of the community and help where we can,” said Aero employee Jim Gehrke who delivered the items with colleague Josh Shur. “We like to be involved.”
The company has been a good neighbor and community partner to St. Coletta’s, providing support and assistance through the years. Aero President Beverly Schatte once served on St. Coletta’s Foundation Board of Directors.
“We are fortunate to have community partners like Aero Rubber Company, Inc.,” said Annette Skafgaard, St. Coletta’s executive director. “Providing outstanding programs and services to 300 children and adults with developmental disabilities is a difficult and costly mission. Aero’s donation of toilet paper, Kleenex, personal hygiene products and craft supplies will go a long way to meeting the needs of those we serve.”
St. Coletta’s of Illinois is a nonprofit organization that provides educational and vocational training services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
